8TH GRADE GRAD NIGHT
12/1 TICKET PURCHASE DEADLINE

For the second year in a row, the 8th graders have voted for a Universal Studios Grad Night adventure instead of a traditional promotion party. The trip will be on Friday May 3, 2024. Purchase a ticket and Learn More at spmspta.org/gradnight. Please purchase by December 1st.

We Need a Nominating Committee!
Every PTA elects a Nominating Committee in the fall. This committee is responsible for creating a slate of candidates for next year’s PTA Executive Board, which will be voted on at our General Association meeting in March 2024. In terms of commitment, committee members have an introductory meeting and then start reaching out to current board members and other parents in the community to see who would be interested and a good fit on next year’s PTA Executive Board, before ultimately “nominating” a slate of candidates. (These candidates may include those serving on the committee.)

If you ordered SPMS spirit wear in October, be on the lookout for pickup instructions in a few weeks. The Athletic Boosters will deliver orders before Thanksgiving. You can still order online. Orders placed after October 30th will be filled as soon as possible depending on size availability.
