WELCOME BACK!
SPMS Tiger Cub Families
The SPMS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) would like to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year! We are looking forward to hitting the ground running and working hard to live up to our new tagline: “supporting students, connecting families, building community.” This year we will continue offering great programs like Mental Health Week, Reflections national art contest, parent socials, student enrichment and service opportunities, parent education webinars, community coffees, 8th Grade Grad Night and promotion programs, The Follies, and much more! To achieve our goals and offer these programs, we rely not only on your donations, but also on close collaboration with families, parent volunteers, and SPMS’s wonderful teachers, staff, and administration. We encourage you to get involved in a way that works for you.
Even if you are unable to donate at this time, please complete your Fall Forms by Monday, 8/28. You will have the opportunity to donate (read about where your money is going), join the PTA, volunteer (read about volunteer opportunities), subscribe to our newsletter, and earn a chance for your student to win Krispy Kreme donuts for their homeroom class!

2023-24 Theme: I am Hopeful Because…
Each year the National PTA Reflections Program provides students an opportunity to express their artistic side through visual and performing arts, film production and music. A theme is established each year where students can choose their own artistic medium to showcase their talents with their academic community.

Did you know that the SPMS Athletic Boosters Club is the PRIMARY source of funding the SPMS intramural and competitive athletics programs? Please join the Athletic Boosters today and support school sports at spmsathleticboosters.org/join.
MUSIC
SPMS MUSIC BOOSTERS
Music Boosters supports our exciting music programs for Band, Choir, Orchestra and 5th Gr. Band. Music performances will be held in December in the SPMS Auditorium. Your donation is essential for instrument repairs, purchase of new instruments, sheet music, concert attire, and much more.
